Netflix announced on Twitter Friday that the science fiction drama "Stranger Things" is officially returning for a third season.
Moviefone reported that the streaming service initially teased the news with a poll asking followers if they should make another season. Soon after, it confirmed the hopes of more than 50 percent of the voters.
"Hold tight baby darts — season 3 is officially happening," Netflix said.

In August, "Stranger Things" co-creator Ross Duffer told Vulture that should a fourth season happen, it may be its last.
“We’re thinking it will be a four-season thing and then out,” he said.
“We just have to keep adjusting the story,” Matt Duffer, Ross Duffer’s twin brother and fellow co-creator, said. “Though I don’t know if we can justify something bad happening to them once a year.”
